Guided the growth of TeleCheck Services Inc. as Chairman/CEO/ co-Founder, the world’s leading check acceptance provider, from a small independent franchise to an international company with annual revenue of several hundred million dollars, over 2,000 employees, 400,000 retail customers and more than a million check transactions daily. Sold the company to a predecessor of First Data Corp. in 1992. In 1995 was promoted to group president of First Data, managing seven operating companies. Left FDC in 1999 to pursue private investment opportunities through Chaney Investments.
