    • Conceptualized and launched the Mawuni Leadership Lab, a robust 18-month agenda encompassing the Ideas Festival; Working Groups; luncheon confabs with funders and community partners; and a semester-long capstone project with the SUNY Delhi senior architecture students and professor, who designed Mawuni’s expansive, carefully appointed Sanctuary.• Leveraged relationships within my network, built across disciplines and over 25 years, to expand the Mawuni network.• Steered the establishment of the founding board of directors and the transition to a second board of directors.• Established Mawuni’s office at WeWork, the 17-story pioneering co-working space in Midtown Manhattan.• Facilitated coverage by the Logo Television news site NewNowNext, which has added Mawuni to its featured roster of LGBTQ change-makers and movements. This coverage prompted interest from around the country.• Created new and bolstering existing Mawuni relationships with the State University of New York, and upstate entities such as the Get Woke Film Series, WIOX radio, an NPR affiliate, and a rainbow of local change-makers, activists and creatives.• Secured pro bono counsel from the Legal Aid Society’s Community Development Project and law partners from Debevoise & Plimpton, a global law firm.• Guiding those pro bono attorneys as they restated and amended the by-laws; drafted a conflict-of-interest policy; and clarified a host of legal, ethical and fiscal issues related to Mawuni’s current lease and the donor's intentions for the South Kortright property.
