HeritageSG’s projects include marquee events such as Singapore Heritage Festival and Singapore Night Festival, which together attract more than 2 million visitors annually. Children’s Museum of Singapore is an integral part of HeritageSG, laying the foundation for our future heritage. Additionally, HeritageSG explores archaeological services, traveling exhibitions, digital services, and brand partnerships. HeritageSG’s digital services team provides interactive museum visitor experiences such as virtual reality and interactive displays.Most recently, I was Chief Executive Officer of Fintopia Indonesia, the largest micro lending digital platform in Indonesia, serving millions of underbanked and unbanked, and the Chief Strategy Officer of Fintopia Singapore. Before joining Fintopia, I held the position of Regional Head of Government Partnerships and Engagement at Shopify and was the Country Head of Google for Education Next Billion Users (NBU) initiative in Indonesia. In addition, I was the Executive Director of the Lien Centre for Social Innovation at Singapore Management University.Entrepreneurship is at the core of my professional journey. I've co-founded and advised numerous start-ups across various sectors globally, receiving funding from investors such as Y-Combinator and 500 Startups. As a global speaker and media commentator, I've travelled all over the world to deliver lectures and talks and have contributed articles to Channel NewsAsia. I was honoured to receive the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) Case Writing Award for my research on an innovative social enterprise in Bali.I hold degrees from UC Berkeley, Columbia, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and earned my doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania.
