Managed end-to-end survey, observational task and video-AI based projects for international development customers in often low-information contexts, utilizing Premise’s crowd-sourced data collection platform. From data collection, model deployment to analysis, ensured scalability and adaptability for real-world applications and actionable insights for policy-making and program adaptive management. I managed a diverse portfolio of quantitative data collection and analytics services for United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded programs, mainly the Health, Ecosystems and Agriculture for Resilient, Thriving Societies (HEARTH) portfolio. I worked closely with partners from global corporations, start-ups, NGOs to government stakeholders in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America.1. Led causal inference research/ experimentation to evaluate program design’s impact. Responsibilities included research design, power analysis, survey/ data collection tool design, contractor management, data management and quality assurance.2. Built data collection tools, processes and dashboards (automated reporting) for metric tracking and early risky warning, and trained operational teams.3. Proactively discovered patterns using regressions for insights that help make strategic programming & business decisions4. Use Machine Learning models to improve efficiency and accuracy of data tools for user targeting and metric monitoring5. Drove impactful research initiatives in collaboration with global partners, specializing in collective behavior for sustainable development and natural resource management. Key contributions include:Advanced Causal Inference and Regression Analysis + Survey and Survey Experiment Design: • Published 3 peer-reviewed articles regarding farmer climate adaptation and forest management. Used SQL to construct appropriate dataset from relational database, and led analysis that uses inferential statistics, causal inference matching and combinations of surveys, ecological data, games and focus groups data.• Used AB testing and focus groups in 276 villages across 4 Indian states to inform national NGO’s forest equity program with farmers in India, bridging NGO, multilateral donor and academia needs• Used a quasi-experimental propensity score weighting design on survey panel data (with ~500 respondents in 3 Indian states) to demonstrate the success of women’s self-help groups in farming communities. • Designed and carried out in online surveys on Qualtrics (including embedded AB testing experiments and qualitative inputs) in Colombia and USA to demonstrate the narratives that drives popular protests. Ethnographic Research and Qualitative Analysis:• Synthesized complex changes in health and familial social relations over 5 years at the Chinese-led dam site in Uganda, using qualitative ethnography methods (with interviews and participant observation notes collected by co-author).

• Evaluated a local citizenship policy approach, from the design, programming, to implementation of computerized experiments with 200+ students from local Muslim and Hindu universities in Pune, India.

• Produced agriculture & nutrition knowledge content for exchange platform across the Middle East and North Africa• Conducted literature review of the development of human food systems from a historical lens• Volunteered for NGO Sawa for Development to understand nutritional challenges at long-standing refugee camps
