Lee Chang is a passionate early stage tech investor with a decade of experience investing in Web3, AI, robotics and automation startups in the US and greater China. Lee is advisor and venture partner to the Chairman for Syntrend Creative, a full subsidiary of Foxconn.Previously, Lee was the first US hire and investment partner for Baidu Ventures, a 700 million USD fund investing in AI-enabled technologies and life science applications globally. Before Baidu, Lee was VP of investments at WI Harper Group, an early stage cross border fund with over $1B USD AUM.Lee started his investment career as a specialist in the Executive Office Strategic Investment Department at Foxconn Technology Group (aka Hon Hai Precision), focusing on Foxconn’s global strategic investment strategy, deal sourcing and execution, and portfolio management.Lee spent time with Xiaomi Tech (Beijing) in International Business Development and Strategy. He has worked in tech consulting as an associate at Vimax Interactive and started his career as a sales analyst at MGA Entertainment. Lee has substantial experience in China, Taiwan as well as the US.Lee holds an MBA from MIT Sloan – Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, and a B.A. in Economics from University of California San Diego.
