• Applied NLP techniques on automated software engineering, specifically in code completion.• Worked on BART based seq2seq code function generation, using retrieved code snippets from codebase and Stack Overflow as extra information.

• Founded a company which devoted to generate music with machine learning. Grew company to 30 employees and secured $10 million investment from GGV, Tencent, Amino Capital and secured partnerships with Chinese popstars such as Jay Chou and Jian Li.• Extended company products and services into Music Generation, Text Generation and Text-To-Speech for multiple businesses in China, impacting global products.

• Developed a Lyrics generating system independently using Deep Neural Networks (Transformer, BERT and GPT2), and surpassed the state-of-the-art by 30% in double blind experiment. The system has created over 7,000 lyrics by users. Created containers in Docker to enable usage of technology by other teams.• Served as technical lead for producing an automatic Structural Music Composition system. Extracted the structure of given text then designed a model to generate the chord and melody sequentially.

• Implemented a website for users to interactively write and modify lyrics with the lyrics generation system using React JS (front-end), and Flask (back-end). Implemented cache and message broker with Redis.
