I worked with the Town Mayor to organise the biggest event of the year, which was Folkestone's own version of 'Strictly Come Dancing' which raised around £9000 and included live bands, dancers, entertainers and a three course meal for 300 people. On the day of the event I acted as event manager and oversaw the running of the event, making sure dancers knew where to be and when. Setting up the seating chart, greeting guests and directing them to their seats and overseeing the general running of the event.
