My role was split between program management in Haiti and operations management in the US. In Haiti, I co-managed the Holistic Churches program alongside the Haitian country director, and also supported our Quality Schools Program.• I was the sole project manager & grant writer for 17 foundation grants totaling $952,000, and co-writer/manager for 6 foundation grants totaling $1,765,000.• We mobilized and trained over 300 churches & 3,000 leaders to end child trafficking, support women’s rights, and start microfinance savings groups. • We launched an innovative leadership development program in partnership with Haitian seminaries, providing full undergraduate scholarships for 43 emerging leaders while apprenticing in our broader work. • Alongside Haitian colleagues, I hosted over 150 short-term visitors, volunteers, and donors in Haiti. • I oversaw Monitoring & Evaluation, which included coordinating data collection & analysis as well as creating M&E instruments (household surveys, pre/post attitudinal surveys) administered on mobile devices. • In 2017, I helped transfer the program to Development Associates International, a global network that could offer additional resources to our Haitian colleagues.I played a critical role in the US-based operations, becoming the de facto chief of staff to the US-based co-director:• I led the creation of our fundraising and communications department, overseeing the hiring of our development coordinator and communications coordinator. I worked to establish partnerships and information sharing agreements with over 30 non-traditional and emerging donors of official development finance. Held in-country meetings with officials of Israel, Egypt, Russia, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Argentina, Uruguay, and the Czech Republic.Wrote regular quantitative analysis articles for the AidData blog.
