With more than 15 years experience as a Senior Leader and Educator in Early Childhood, I have led several professional development initiatives in my role as Director in a Government Agency to raise standards for early childhood programmes and practices. As an external consultant with a major anchor operator in the ECE sector, I have developed and piloted a leadership development and mentoring programme for centre leaders as well as co-led an Independent Review Board for the improvement of Child Safety practices. After building a career in the early childhood education sector, I returned to teaching as Associate Professor at the Singapore University of Social Sciences and volunteered as a Life Coach with the University’s Center for Counselling and Life Coaching. As a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), I coach and guide individuals navigating midlife transitions, helping them cultivate clarity, confidence, and spiritual growth during seasons of change. I assist my clients in making meaning of their mid-life transitions, uncovering their core values, and envisioning meaningful pathways forward.Recognizing that midlife often brings a deeper longing for purpose and meaning, I adopt an approach to help individuals understand their transition as a process of continuous self-construction and renewal. My Coaching and Spiritual Direction sessions offer a contemplative space for reflection, deep listening, and discernment, allowing individuals to discover and align with their authentic Self and purpose. Drawing on over 30 years of experience in education and training, along with my training in spiritual direction, Jungian sandplay, and transition coaching, I bring a unique blend of expertise and compassion to my work. My eclectic approach incorporates tools such as the Birkman Method, Core values assessment, the arts, and Journal Coaching to support personal growth and spiritual transformation.I hold a Doctorate in Education from Durham University and am Certified as a Birkman Professional, Journal to the Self Instructor and Transitions Writing Specialist. I am an Ignatian-trained spiritual director and completed my training with Kardia Formation, recognized by the Australian Ecumenical Council for Spiritual Direction. I am currently serving as an Associate faculty and spiritual mentor with the Biblical Graduate School of Theology.
