Currently responsible for a highly performing Business Intelligence Department and its systems. I was integral in the redevelopment and implementation of the new department which brought together areas that were previously separate entities within the Trust; Business Intelligence, Informatics and Performance, to create one centralised BI team responsible for the implementation and delivery of all BI, Analytics, Reporting, Performance and Informatics functionality for the organisation. As a department I have instilled an ideal of innovation and challenge those working with me to find new improved ways of doing things. I believe that automation is key wherever possible and that Customer Service is integral in any role, as such I have striven to ensure that the department is customer focussed and ensured that those working with me share a set of core values.I have been heavily involved in the implementation of new systems within the organisation, and have worked on many of the key national and mandatory returns required by various governing bodies and commissioners throughout my time at Mersey Care.

Responsible for the ongoing development and management of Business Intelligence Systems within the Trust. Using the full Microsoft BI stack to provide reporting to end users within the organisation as well as back office reporting to satisfy corporate and commissioner reporting requirements. Support of performance management agenda by scoping any national and local requirements and including in the development plans of the solution. Increase the use of information within the Trust to support evidence based decision making and support the improving quality initiatives. Responsible for the development of informatics staff and the wider organisation in the use of the solution and associated technologies. Engage with key stakeholders and design appropriate reporting mechanisms within the solution to support key business plans.
