About Channah Ruiter

My mission is to help/coach other people together with my knowledge of psychology, positive and openminded attitude, my great reflective and listening ability, and thoughtfulness. I've been specialised in clinical and health psychology, but other areas I am interested and experienced in are psychological research, neuropsychology and developmental/child psychology. My short term goal is to learn more about mastering all the skills of a great psychologist by doing interviews, complaints inventories and drafting treatment plans. Finally, I will be learning more about and eventually practicing the widely used therapies CGT, EMDR and mindfullness. On the long run I will become a specialized therapist who will be fully committed to her patients and I will be striving for major improvements in mental health care.
