Evolve Contractors is a full-service Commercial Roofing and General Construction Firm with over 100+ years combined experience within the industry. We are located in Atlanta Ga, but have capabilities to operate nationally due to our current licenses and relationships. Channing is a 4th generation commercial builder, originally from Los Angeles CA, currently residing in Atlanta GA. Starting as a laborer in 1996 for his father’s business to present day as Owner of EVOLVE, Channing has more than 20 years of executive leadership and management construction experience.

As Director of Operations at FS360, I was responsible for the execution of construction for each one of FS 360’s business verticals: aviation, K-12, higher education, retail, civil and healthcare. During my time at FS 360, we were very proud to say, that we achieved over 90% repeat clients. Notable clients include Atlanta Housing Authority, JPMorgan Chase/JLL, Delta, and American Airlines.

Over the course of 4 years, first as Project Manager then Senior Project Manager, I focused on high-end Interior "Aviation" build-out project, as well as infrastructure and utilities projects with the City of Atlanta Parks & Recreations and high-end multifamily commercial construction through-out Atlanta Metropolitan area. Most notably, I have managed over $8 million for Delta Air Lines, $1 million for DeKalb County School District, $5 million for Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs and $2.4 million for City of Atlanta.

Responsible for managing all major commercial and residential custom stone cladding/tile fabrication and installs throughout Georgia. Most notably, within the past 12 months a few of my recent projects are as follows: >> Freese Johnson - Mandarin Oriental Residences ($1.6M+)>> Hoar Construction - Avalon Buildings 5000, 6000, 3975 & Concierge Building ($100k+) >> Weeks Construction – Intermix (Buckhead, Atl)Daily responsibilities consist of using multiple drawing; estimating and scheduling software’s in managing between 5-20 projects at a time from contract to installation. (Programs: CAD, LT-55, Planswift, BlueBeam, MS Project, 20/20 Surfaces & Excel). Projects budgets average between $20K-200k per. Other essential responsibilities and attributes include construction and stone engineering with respect to drawings and fabrication of stone products. My civil engineering background and daily studies have allowed me to effectively communicate to clients/architects/builders/engineers, in-depth details of the physical, structural, geological and chemical properties of natural stones including but not limited to complex installs of limestone’s, marbles, granites, onyx and quartz using tools such as the TCNA, ANSI, MIA, ICC and IBC.

Responsible for estimating, scheduling and managing daily operations for multiple high-end ($2M+ construction budget) residential homes from throughout the Atlanta Metro Area. Most notably off West Paces Ferry & Randall Mill in Buckhead.Major responsibilities included:- Reviewed drawings for completeness and best practices- Reviewed and assessed construction related agreements (construction, design, and building loan)- Analyzed direct and indirect cost budgeting- Conducted periodic site visits to monitor construction, review contractors' requisitions for payment, and recommend the release of construction funds- Observed general compliance of as-built conditions with the contract drawings and specifications- Reviewed construction schedules, trade payment breakdowns, job cost reports, and payment requisitions- Maintained high level of client contact and communication- Managed multiple projects simultaneously- Prepareed and managed Project Status Reports'- Delivered outstanding client service with timely responses with proactive solutions

Responsible for estimating, procuring and managing numerous projects at Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport including over 100,000 SF of drywall installation, 60,000 SF of wall demolition, 60,000 SF of wainscot cement board installation, and flooring throughout concessions at Concourse B, C and D Flooring.- Managed all coordination of all material deliveries (Div 9 ACT tile, ACT grid. ACT accessories, drywall, studs, reveals, drywall accessories, etc).- Responsible for drafting RFP’s, drafting and approving RFI’s, all cost engineering, monthly cost studies, monthly pay applications approval and review, submittal and approval of change orders, assisted General Contractor in daily (project management) operations. - Quality control/safety reports, drawing revision reports project scheduling, maintained payroll, timesheets and financial records. - As PM for Build International Consulting (Sub Contractor), I was hired independently by Dobbs Raker (General Contractor) to create the overall project schedule. (18Mo/$6M+) including 18 Construction Divisions (Demo/Drywall/Elec/Plumbing/Finishes etc). - Served as lead advisor to general contractor superintendent on all project operations. - Assisted in punch list and Q/A/Q/C walks with Program Managers, the CPS (Comprehensive Program Services) and Atlanta Airport Engineering Team.- Completed and received Certification in Scaffolding Training. Completed and received Certification training for Extension Boom Lift (Used in atrium over escalators). - Currently completing Project Management Institute Training for PMP Certification.

Project Engineer – Cobb County Adult Detention Center (+$100M) The Cobb County ADC Project consisted of 7 parts, (1) Main Housing (5-Stories), (2) 84’ Renovation, (3) 97’ Renovation, (4) Power Plant (5) Visitor Center (6) Bridge, and (7) Admin Building. Each project was built simultaneously where I was responsible for the following disciplines:- Division 3 Concrete, Division 5 Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals, Division 8 Doors Frames and Hardware. Division 9/10 Finishes. - Reviewing shop drawings and comparing current design documents (DD’s) with current sub contractor shop drawings, making changes, stamping drawings and submitting to architect for final changes. - Responsible for submittals, scheduling all jobsite deliveries and managing on-site logistics in addition to publishing and submitting a Request for Information (RFI’s) through architect. - Managed all structural inspections and engineering transmittals. - Facilitated closeout processes (V.C), owner training, warranty packages, change orders, balanced the budget, value engineering, pay applications and supervised field operations.Superintendent - Mezzo Condominium (+$34M) - Estimated, scheduled, and managed +$1.7M of structural concrete and reinforcement scope of work in field including excavations, placing and finishing all concrete. Scheduled and managed all site work, building inspections, and engineer testing. Estimating Engineer- Assisted in estimating over $1 billion of projects including, but not limited to Center for Disease Control Building #23 (+$200M), Cobb County Adult Detention Center (+$90M), Rockdale County Jail ($18M), Barrow County Jail, Signature Towers in Nashville, TN (+$100M), Mill Creek Elementary, and CDC #24.
