I frequently researched via WestLaw and Lexis and subsequently wrote the attorneys a legal memo. In addition, I contacted potential and current clients and conducted interviews over the phone regarding prospective legal actions.

I covered a large range of news stories. I attended community/university events and meetings, interviewed students and faculty, and then wrote a story based on the interviews and event.

As a bookseller, I was responsible for shelving books, helping customers, creating appealing displays, and keeping the store clean and orderly throughout the day. As a barista, I took customer orders, prepared drinks off our Starbuck's menu, kept the cafe clean at all t imes, and kept the bake case stocked. On top of these day to day tasks, I was also responsible for four weekly interchangeable tasks that consisted of cleaning the oven or fridges, dusting, and so on.

As a clerk, my primary responsibility was organizing case files and incoming discovery. I often copied and scanned documents and later organized them in their separate files within the case file so that they could be easily found and used for trial. I also attended depositions to assist Mr. Goodman in taking notes and formulating follow-up questions. After which, I would summarize the deposition and schedule subsequent depositions.

I was responsible for looking through a media journal from the period of the late 1920s and the early 1930s that explained the trends of growing adoration for the silent film star Ruldolpho Valentino. My tasks included going through the journals from the period, finding related articles or pictures and making bibliographies for each source. At the end of the school year, I presented my research to students, faculty and sponsors of the UROP program.
