• Promoted to Principal Software Engineer from Services Department to develop new major product features for flagship web storefront product using the same speed, energy and understanding of customer needs that made the Services software successful.• Actively collaborated on all aspects including requirements gathering, coding, user testing, quality assurance, and product release.• Worked closely with product designer to perfect user interface for new features. Created multiple iterations of UI in order to maintain product’s edge on usability and to ensure using product is a joyful experience.• Contributor in all engineering design meetings for product development. Started and ran a first party custom software development group at Pageflex. A mix of customer projects, strategic partner integrations, and product development.

• Integrated a new client/server variable data engine (Agilis from Saepio) and retired/moved old projects to new engine.• Added significant functionality on top of Saepio’s Agilis software for print workflow and database and programmatic population of variable fields. Was told by Saepio that I am their most sophisticated customer using their API.• Worked with Graphic Designers, Project Managers, and Engineering team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of web-to-print projects.• Produced UI prototypes to hand off to graphic design team for client presentations and UI mock ups for production engineering.• Scoped sizes of projects and product development efforts down to the task level including milestones, completion criteria, staffing level recommendations, and proposed schedules.• Juggled multiple client schedules for paralleled sync print projects to be sure all variable data requirements for composition and fulfillment integration were met.
