Working as a laboratory technician at Trinchero Family Estates involves analyzing wine at all stages of winemaking, from harvesting to bottling. One obtains wine samples from tanks and juice samples from grape trucks, perform pH, TA, brix, and nutritional analyses on grape and juice samples, and is responsible for analysis on bottling tanks, bottled wine, and wines in storage. Analytical results generated are done accurately and efficiently. Along with preforming analyses, chemical preparation of acids, bases, buffers, and reference standards are executed. One is also responsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including SQF standards of TFE.

Serving as manager of the orientation team under the department of Orientation and Transition Programs, I worked to develop training for orientation leaders over the summer in preparation for new student orientation, evaluated new student engagement with their orientation leader and campus activities using an Excel tracker in which I curated, observed techniques used by the department and analyzed what proved as successful, and assisted in planning run-of-show for future orientation sessions. Along with these roles, I also helped in facilitating group interviews for orientation leader applicants along with my colleagues.
