I worked with local and international start-ups and large corporations across various industries including the energy, technology, and microfinance sectors. I advised on matters related to, among other things, corporate structuring, debt financing via bonds and syndicated loans, and all matters relating to equity financing including the transfer or issuing of shares, increasing share capital and the preparation of shareholder agreements.

I served as legal advisor to the Registrar of Companies. I reviewed and approved documents submitted for the incorporation of companies and registration of business names, prepared legal opinions on issues arising in relation to the Companies Act and the Registration of Business Names Act, and reviewed, and provided recommendations for improvements to, the Partnership (General) Bill, the Partnership (Limited) Bill and the International Corporate and Trust Services Providers Bill prior to them being tabled in Parliament.
