Through the Governor’s Challenge to Prevent Suicide Among SMVF (Service Members, Veterans, and their Families) provide TA (technical assistance) for all states and territories. Work with teams appointed by their state or territory Governor to create implementation plans for preventing suicide among SMVF. Of those locations I serve as a primary liaison for Nebraska, Arkansas, Vermont, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Guam, and Colorado. I am a secondary liaison for Georgia, Maine, Rhode Island, Utah, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Hawaii.Provide TA for cities and counties through CIM (Crisis Intercept Mapping) to assist them in identifying and closing gaps in their crisis care system.Facilitate for site visits, conferences and academies (virtual and in-person)Develop agenda’s and plans for on demand site visits to meet the specific needs of teams.Prior to my role as a facilitator, I served as a scribe for different events. I would create a TA report that goes to our federal partners at Veteran Affairs. As a Project Lead on TA presentations, I identify and book SME’s (Subject Matter Experts), organize, create and disseminate announcement flyers and moderate for TA events via phone, video call, and webinarsHave a focus on DEI and the SMVF populationProject Lead on SAMHSA’s SMVF TA Center website

Organized and researched regional resources. Put together a resource directory for American Red Cross to serve SMVF (Service Members, Veterans and their Families) in our community. Worked under the SAF director for New York's Northeastern Region. In creating the resource directory, travel, attending events, and networking played a key in role.

• 2009 – 2014 - Repaired and maintained F/A-18 jet aircraft while stationed on the USS George Washington aircraft carrier in the Pacific.• 2014-2016 – Repaired and maintained MH-60S helicopters while stationed in Guam in support of search and rescue, medical evacuation, and aerial firefighting missions in the Mariana Islands.• During the six years I advanced from E-1 (airman recruit) to E-5 (petty officer second class).• While an E-5 on Guam I was the night shift supervisor of the squadron aircraft structures and hydraulics work center, and was responsible for the production efforts of 10 sailors. My responsibilities included assigning tasks, training sailors, and inspecting upkeep and repairs of aircraft performed by the work center. When not training or inspecting, my duties were to identify and correct any discrepancies found during aircraft launch and recovery cycles. This duty also included determining whether each helicopter was mechanically sound to operate safely.
