Working as a paraprofessional, I was able to work with non-verbal students who captured my interest in speech language pathology (SLP). I am very observant and that is a strength that would help me be a successful SLP because I would be able to properly diagnose clients with speech and language disorders. My additional strengths of being empathetic, hands-on, and patient will help me create successful outcomes for future clients. I have completed my bachelors degree in SLP and audiology with 25 clinical observation hours. I will be completing a masters program in SLP specializing in speech disorders to achieve my dream career in SLP.
