I led the dental care team consisting of people with various skills and academic backgrounds, such as dental assistants, hygienists, technicians, receptionists, treatment coordinators, and other dentists. As a dental clinician, an aspect of my professional responsibilities involved communicating with sales representatives from various dental companies, subsequently making decisions on the dental products that will ultimately be recommended to my patients.

I visited the Colgate headquarters in Piscataway, New Jersey and was able to witness how the inner-workings of corporations function. The thought and creativity that go into what everyday consumers think of as trivial was the most eye-opening aspect of my visit. Assisted in training programs for dental nurses ensuring they were up to date with all the new materials, techniques and regulations.
