In September 2019 I embraced a new and exciting challenge and joined Beachborough Prep School as Assistant Head, Head of PSHE, Pastoral Lead and Form V Co-Ordinator. 2013 provided me with my biggest career challenge to date as I joined Castle Academy. I accepted the role as phase leader with clarification that the school was very likely to become a school in 'special measures'. I immediately became an intrinsic part of a challenging journey which successfully resulted in receiving a ‘Good’ with elements of ‘Outstanding’ grade in the 2016 Ofsted report. 2009 bought yet another change of location to rural Northamptonshire where I worked as a year 3 and then later a year 2 teacher at West Haddon C of E primary school. These roles provided me with some exceptional challenges as well as mastering the end of Key Stage 1 assessment process. I was also the head or RE and went through a Diocese Inspection, ensuring the school received the outstanding grade it deserved.

2008 brought an exciting re-location to Milton Keynes where I loved teaching in an outstanding Primary school called Oxley Park. This school was monumental in providing me with vast skills and knowledge of the EYFS and I embraced the fulfilling challenge of the role of Reception teacher.

In 2005 I joined Orchard Primary school in Watford and successfully passed my NQT year. I taught in year 4 class duirng my time here and was fortunate enough to work with some wonderfully diverse pupils, some with very complex needs. I gained vast experience and quickly became the PE co-ordinator, a role I adored and felt I brought a variety of experiences to many pupils.
