* PROGRAM MANAGEMENT *Immuno-Oncology Discovery Group• Leveraging relationships with supply vendors and knowledge of products to improve protocols, reducing time and cost by 50%, and increasing yields by 10-15x.• Project management of all lab aspects and data summary of drug effect on various cancer types. Implemented a new innovative tumor-cutting technique, reducing time spent by 95% and reducing strain on the hand and body. Resulting in more sample pool of data for principal investigators to review and make decisions on moving the study forward.• Oversaw and performed experimental aspects of a solid tumor Phase I clinical study that gave the clinical team and key stakeholders progress of patients' treatments. Reduced time processing clinical samples with time management by leveraging preparation, and knowledge to create a more efficient experimental schedule, resulting in faster summaries. • Provide administrative and operational support with getting preventive maintenance contracts approved, point of contact for service providers of specialized equipment in the lab, self troubleshoot machinery, order reagents/supplies/equipment, and cost inventory.• All projects requiring regular data entry into an intricate Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) system that generates reports necessitating a keen eye for detail and knowledge. Reports to be a resource for future reference as research projects progress.• Purifying immune cell subsets by immunomagnetic selection to obtain high purity of T Cells to use in experiments for drug characterization and routine cell culture to generate cells for drug screening and assay development for our internal development pipeline to lead to a pre-clinical drug.• Setup functional assays like ELISAs and multi-color flow cytometry, to validate the drug effects on the target to display the therapeutic benefit within an acceptable safety window.

Translational Sciences Analytics - Histology• Produced a high-level workflow document and protocols of our pipeline study from acquisition, experiments, data, and analysis, to collaborations and troubleshooting. Workflow documentation used for all onboarding, training, and high-level meetings to director/executive levels. Protocols used for day to day work in research studies.• Successfully created an antibody registry as a front-back-end user for Benchling ELN, collaborating with external team, enhancing departmental capabilities and configuration process. Success led to this project being rolled over to the production site for all users. • Cross-functional relationships with IT and service providers such as Indica Labs (HALO), Dell, and Microsoft to troubleshoot. I detected many issues that resulted in the loss of data, delayed and created more work. Implemented interim solutions such as a manual backup, team-wide communication protocols to eliminate overwriting of data, cross-checking input, and a shutdown check, while awaiting deployment of major software upgrades.• Upkept operational excellence within the lab by preparing mammalian tissue/slides while maintaining inventory and tracking within the database for downstream experiments.• Immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and simple-stain methods on tissues for assay development and antibody-target characterization to evaluate and define antibody binding to carcinoma and normal tissues. Played a critical role in structural organization, and quality control, and produced the data that helped inform key stakeholders which antibodies were worth more time and investment as potential future drug candidates.• Generated experimental results using microscopy, whole slide scanners, and image analysis using HALO to discuss and present experimental results and data to provide a high-level overview of our findings to senior management to plan the next steps in the pipeline.

The Human Immune Monitoring Center (HIMC) Biobank• Used collaborative approaches to manage and coordinate the biospecimen aspect of a nationwide renal study at scientific institutions. Successfully created a detailed manual for acquiring, handling and shipping samples. Resulted in an archetype for future studies.• Isolated PBMCs, plasma, serum, DNA, RNA, etc., and dissociated cancerous and non-cancerous tissues from humans to be used in downstream assays• Assisted in the cataloging infrastructure of BiobankOS that helped clients view and manage the banked specimens of their research studies and inventory in real-time.• Audited daily workflow, wet lab procedures, and processing records for annual review.• Supervised, trained, and educated staff, college and high school students for onboarding or internships to further their wet-lab experience in the industry.

The Center for Inherited Disorders of Energy Metabolism (CIDEM)• Assist in organization and maintenance of the laboratory.• -Provide administrative support services (including but not limited to: answering phones, word processing, coordination of meetings and facility booking, taking meeting minutes, filing and faxing documents, pulling and aggregating test result reports for presentations, working with staff from other departments and local hospitals, updating contact/insurance/patient lists, taking inventory of equipment, sending and receiving mail/packages/specimens).• Organize, plan, and carry out projects.
