About Tk Chan
Scottish educated Chinese with over 10 years working in higher education experience in both Edinburgh and Hong Kong. Experienced in student recruitment with creative methods and joining fairs. Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin, Cantonese and English. TK Chan returned to Hong Kong in 2010 & co-founded BLINK Gallery Hong Kong. She is a member of the Society of Scottish Artists (SSA), the Hong Kong St Andrew's Society, the Hong Kong Highlanders and the Hong Kong Society for Education in Art (HKSEA). In 2017 she was one of the finalists for the Finalist of the Entrepreneurial Award, Alumni Awards 2017 - organized by the British Council, Hong Kong.I received my higher education in Scotland at Edinburgh College and progressed into Edinburgh Napier University between 2000 and 2008. I graduated with Bdes(Hons) Design Futures graduated with second upper 2:1. I then received a scholarship from Napier to support my postgraduate study and obtained M(des) Interdisciplinary Design in 2008.With over 7 years of working with international students at higher education in Hong Kong and Edinburgh. I worked in the Faculty of Creative industry at Napier between 2008 - 2010. Supporting them in the classroom environment and also deal other issues may rise during their study.The University of Sunderland runs a BA (Hons) Graphic Design Top Up programme via a collaborative partner in Hong Kong called Sun Wah Pearl Design Academy (SWP). I was employed by SWP and was appointed as the Associate programme leader for the Graphic Design course in Hong Kong between 2010 and 2013. I have also managed the Pearson BTEC Higher National Diplomas in Art and Design L4 and L5 programme at SWP between 2012 and 2016. It was a feeder programme for the BA(Hons) Graphic Design for University of Sunderland. In 2014 - 2016, I worked as Programme Coordinator for University of Kent, the Business International Foundation Programme in Hong Kong.

BLINK Gallery was founded in 2013, located in Kwun Tong and Happy Valley. The aim of BLINK Gallery is to support Hong Kong artists by promoting their artworks at international art fairs and any other publicly accessible platforms.
