Accounting:• Capture and reconcile bank accounts.• Capturing of supplier invoices and reconcile to supplier statements.• Ensure supplier records are kept up to date (e.g., supplier contracts, BEE certificates, details on system).• Processing of journals (monthly provisions, re-allocation and ad-hoc).• Invoice intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany records.• Process and reconcile petty cash.• Process credit card statements.• Update foreign currency daily rates and revalue at month end.• Income statement review for completeness.• Balance sheet reconciliations.• Manual stock adjustments.• Cash Flow Forecast and Management (with assistance from FM and Debtors clerk).• Plan and load payments (local and foreign).• Assisting and working closely together with the Financial Manager and auditors during audits (Annual Financial Audit, BBBEE audit and other audits that arise during business).• Assisting with compiling budgets.• Assisting in maintaining insurance records and claims.• Assisting with some personal assistance to the directors (typing letters, reading contracts etc).VAT:• Calculating and submitting the VAT201 and loading the SARS payment.
