As a Civil Engineering Intern at Road Development Authority (RDA), Chanuka Jeewantha is applying his theoretical knowledge and practical skills to support various infrastructure projects in Sri Lanka. He is involved in conducting site surveys, preparing design drawings, estimating costs, and monitoring quality and safety standards. He is also collaborating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Chanuka is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Kotelawala Defence University, where he is learning the fundamentals and applications of engineering principles, methods, and tools. He is also expanding his skill set by completing several certificate courses in project management, data analysis, web development, and communication skills from reputable institutions such as Google and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is passionate about exploring the intersections of engineering, technology, and business, and aims to become a versatile and innovative professional in the field of Civil Engineering and beyond.
