• Diagnosing and determining the stage of gastrointestinal cancer, working with medical oncologists, radiologist, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and nurses to create personalizedtreatment plans and to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.• Assessing patients’ overall health, medical history, and fitness for surgery, and performing surgical procedures.
