Dr. Chao Dong graduated from School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester with a PhD degree in 2009. His research focused on Data Quality in Management Information Systems. He joined China Youth Development Foundation (CYDF) in 2010 as a senior program manager who is responsible for international partnership developments with overseas organizations, foundations and multinational corporations that are in the favor of supporting underserved children and youth, and providing services to empower them to build their capacities. In 2013, Dr. Dong has taken the lead of the Innovation Technology Department and responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of CYDF’s informatization construction. He is leading his team to develop information system mater plan and design infrastructure platforms, information management policies and solutions. Dr. Dong also manages the design, implementation and operation of CYDF’s official websites, mobile applications and social media platforms for online marketing and public fundraising.
