ORCID: 0000-0001-7448-1597I am a Postdoc Researcher at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. My area of expertise is judgement and decision-making. I am currently working on the members of the public's acceptability of low carbon lifestyle. I have experience in several applied projects where we apply psychological principles to existing risk or scientific communication products in order to improve understanding and decision-making of members of the public. These projects include visualized tornado warnings issued by US National Weather Service and COVID-19 & its vaccine related scientific communication. List of my publications and poster presentations can be found in my profile.In grad school, in addition to the core skillset such as psychological theories, statistics (with R), experimental design and research methods, I also picked up additional data science skills such as Python (including Django), database management system (mostly Postgres), ArcGIS and so on.I wish to continue leverage my expertise in psychology with the help of data science to improve people's judgement and decision-making in applied settings.
