With over six years of experience in data science and machine learning, I am passionate about applying cutting-edge technologies to improve human-media interaction and communication. As an Associate Editor at Frontiers in Computer Science, I oversee the peer-review process and ensure the quality and relevance of the published articles in the Human-Media Interaction section. As a Data Scientist at C Squared Visions, I lead the development and deployment of text classification models for various clients and domains, using programming languages such as Python and R. I am also a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, where I work on projects to use generative AI to improve augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for people with speech impairments. I have a PhD in Computer Science from the same university, and I have completed multiple certifications in machine learning and deep learning from Coursera. I am proficient in both Chinese and English, and I have received an Electronics and Computer Science Research Studentship for my PhD study.
