Providing spiritual and emotional support to terminally ill persons and their families in the home, hospital, or nursing home settings • Multi-faith spiritual care to all persons without discriminating or showing preference • Facilitating spiritual care through local churches and religious communities in addition to educating staff and the community on the spiritual needs of the dying and grieving • Bereavement counseling to individuals and group counseling for anyone in the community who is experiencing complicated grief • Expertise in Appalachian culture having served in the homes of four different locations of Corbin, Harlan, Hazard, and Pikeville. These locations have provided a strong window into the Appalachian culture of southeastern Kentucky.

Provided leadership for 110 churches and 55 pastors, over 30,000 church members • Provided theological education in the local church setting • Provided pastoral care of the pastor's and their families • Served as a liaison between the Advent Christian Conference of India and the Advent Christian General Conference of America as well as the connection for the Fellowship of the Blessed Hope Churches to their supports in the United States • Specialized in cross cultural education of church leaders with a focus on self sufficiency and leadership • Volunteered as a teacher in conversational English at the American Spoken English Center which trained Indian nationals for American and European university studies
