Vice President Of Algorithms

Current

Beverly, Massachusetts, Us

Develop algorithms and processes to calculate confluence, count cells, track growth and differentiation over time, classify cells and cell characteristics, and measure 2d and 3d features to help in the automation of cell culture. Develop tools to create in-focus image stacks from microscopic 4x, 10x, and 20x phase-contrast and bright field images, perform full warp stitches of large scenes (~200 MB for a typical grayscale stitch), calculate features from the stitched images to track cell doubling rates and generate data to be fed to classifiers for a wide range of analytic goals. Develop tools for semi-automated image labeling. Create classifiers and work with data scientists to create new features more well suited for specific tasks. There is an urgent business need for these tools so they are developed at a rapid pace.
