I was a driving force behind BBC Sounds; the BBC’s greatest play in the audio space since the launch of digital stations in 2002 and the largest product spend since iPlayer. I am a content specialist and commissioner across music, radio, playlists and podcasts. Experienced in launching and managing brands, youth audiences and talent. A senior figure on the BBC Radio Board and with 8 years on the Radio 1 management team, I have overseen BBC Radio social media channels and scaled digital communities. I have led the strategic direction for digital across all radio at the BBC - engaging young audiences in particular. I am now leading a strategic content change and delivery at Amazon Audible in podcasting. Outside of delivering BBC Sounds, one of my greatest achievements is the worldwide reach and impact of Glastonbury, bringing choice and access via digital TV in 2004 and reinventing it on the web in 2013. I have cemented it within BBC iPlayer and now BBC Sounds. I am a compassionate leader who people believe in and follow – I have an impeccable reputation in the BBC and wider industry.
