Currently, I am expanding the research by performing Data Acquisition using BiosignalsPlux wearable sensors for capturing muscle EMG sensor data and GoPro cameras to record videos of different activities. This expanded dataset, involving multiple subjects, is aimed at further improving the accuracy and robustness of the motion intention recognition system.

During my summer internship with INT, I worked on two key projects:• In the first project, I improved a documentation website by integrating Elastic Lunr JS, Hugo library, and debouncing techniques, which reduced search latency by 10%. I also enhanced the overall UI with modern features like similar article recommendations and multiple theme support.• In the second project, I developed a Node.js-based full-stack application using the MVC architecture to create a performance monitoring app with Express RESTful API, Puppeteer, MongoDB, and Chart.js, reducing redundant test runs by 90%. Additionally, I productionized the system with Docker, deployed it on AWS ECS with Fargate, and orchestrated CI/CD pipelines using AWS, reducing deployment time by 50%.

I have conducted research with Prof. Kim Kinam to develop a motion intention recognition system using TensorFlow and PyTorch. The goal was to predict construction workers' intended actions at an early stage by classifying temporal data into eight different activity classes.• One of my key contributions was implementing a Video Swin Transformer model to classify video sequences, and through transfer learning and hyperparameter tuning, I managed to boost the model’s performance to 95% accuracy.• I also built a combined 1D CNN and LSTM model to analyze high-frequency muscle movement patterns in sEMG sensor data, reaching 90% accuracy in predicting activity intention within a 0.1-second interval.• On top of that, I applied techniques like sliding window transformation, low-pass filtering, and data augmentation, which improved the model's generalizability and led to a 5% increase in accuracy.Through this experience, I have honed my skills to develop deep learning models for multiple kinds of modalities.
