This pioneering study aims to measure the impact of psilocybin services on mental health and well-being and gain insights into best practices for improving client outcomes.Bendable partnered with Osmind, a public benefit corporation and the premier technology platform for mental health treatment and research, to investigate the characteristics of people seeking psilocybin services through Oregon’s legal framework. The study assesses various aspects of clients' experiences seeking psilocybin services through Bendable, including positive impacts on their lives and any adverse medical and mental health effects.This study collects data before and after a psilocybin session. It includes medical and mental health histories, acute and lingering effects post-session, and overall impacts on mental health and well-being. Data collection began in March 2024 and is ongoing, and results are anticipated to be shared in 2025.Key questions the study seeks to answer include:● What are the primary mental health conditions that clients are seeking to address through psilocybin services?● What specific outcomes do clients experience in the short and long term following apsilocybin session?● How can screening processes be refined to identify better individuals most likely tobenefit from psilocybin services?● What are the common barriers to accessing psilocybin services, and how can these be mitigated?
