On a journey to change the outlook and approach to personal finance management using technology

Founded a company that focuses on providing standardized stay experiences to short-term rental guests by acquiring and managing high-quality properties. We operated across 4 tourist destinations in Karnataka. We provided end-to-end guest and property management services to landlords willing to rent their properties as short-term rentals on various vacation rental platforms.

Program Management:• Directly reported to the CEO• Piloted processes to identify and investigate transgressions by employees which in turn may subject customers, sellers, or the organization to reputation risk, legal risk, or financial risk• Documented the findings of the pilot and presented a detailed risk identification and mitigation plan in a paper to the leadership• Established data-based triggers to actively identify transgressions across business processes• Collaborated with process excellence and product teams at Prione and Amazon to implement product level guardrails to prevent transgressions in the long-term• Collaborated with function leaders and line managers to implement process guardrails to prevent transgressions in the short-term• Collaborated with HR & leaders of all major functions across the organization to educate employees on the importance of compliance to organization's values and policies• Collaborated with Legal and HR to clearly define and establish investigation practices and severity matrix for corrective measures• Worked with the CEO and leaders of various functions to communicate regular updates on compliance levels within the organization and also reiterate the importance of compliance• Conducted quarterly in-person and online training sessions for employees across 27 cities• Documented and transferred the learnings to setup a counter-part team at AmazonPeople Management:• Managed the performance of 8 employees in Business Compliance team and 6 Employees in Launchpad Account Management teamAdditional Responsibilities:• Managed Launchpad account management team to deliver account management services to startups selected to be a part of the Launchpad Program and Store on Amazon.in• Collaborated with Amazon Program Team to define the service charter for account management services for startups• Delivered 1.33X higher GMS than the GMS goal set for startups on Launchpad in 2018• SME for analytics across functions

Seller Rewards Program:• Constructed a model to identify products with a significant upward trend in views and a stable or downward trend in seller offers on Amazon.in so that sellers can be incentivized to offer more of these products• The products that were shortlisted for the seller rewards program on average saw a lift in sales of 2.2X compared to the rest of the products which saw a lift of 1.22X on an averageAccount Management:• Devised a method to classify the seller base into various account management buckets that would capture the seller’s impact on overall sales, offer expansion potential, Fulfillment By Amazon upsell potential, etc.• Created a sales flash that enabled the leadership to gain insights into seller performance across timelines, product categories, and seller classification during major retail events on Amazon.inUdaan: Udaan is an assisted shopping experience program, which enables people across the country irrespective of their location and Internet infrastructure to gain the value and convenience of shopping on Amazon.in• Conducted initial market survey to assess the opportunity and establish partner profile to launch an assisted shopping experience model called Udaan• Assisted the leadership in identifying potential cities or pockets across India to launch Udaan points wherein the existing logistic network and office infrastructure can be optimally utilized• Collaborated with the leadership to create a roadmap and a ramp plan to launch Udaan points across shortlisted cities• Designed a sales pitch deck that would cater to stores across the country while tackling linguistic barriers• Setup processes and tools to centrally manage sales activity, registration documentation, and partner account creation across 8 cities• Trained 15 new sales associates to carry out sales pitch, registrations, account creation, and store partner training for Udaan

Alternative fund services group Feb 2012 – August 2012• Assisted the Alternative fund services team in migrating from legacy fund accounting platforms toAdvent Geneva 8.0 fund accounting platform.• Carried out trade verification, pricing verification, cash and position reconciliations for various funds.• Was also involved in the process of OTC security setups for various funds.• Skills Learned:• Working knowledge of Paladyne fund accounting platform and Advent Geneva fundaccounting software.• Overview of hedge funds and OTC securities.• Pricing verification of securities using Bloomberg, IDC and Supederivatives.
