When I joined the university, I chose to major in Biochemistry as I was fond of researching, analyzing, and testing, which fostered strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Upon graduation, the pandemic hit, and I joined Markarie as an Account Coordinator. But little did I know that this exciting opportunity would be the starting point for a significant shift in my career.Through my work, I broke out of my comfort zone and broadened my knowledge base in the marketing industry while leveraging my pre-acquired skills before being promoted to Strategic Manager and then Lead Strategic Manager. Learning is central to everything we do at Markarie. We constantly look for ways to improve ourselves and optimize our clients’ campaigns by seeking and absorbing new insights from trusted sources. We aim to find the story in the data and use it to understand our targets and inform our next move. This demands high resilience - a value practiced by all our team members. Above all, the best part I cherish the most is building genuine relationships with my clients. We view colleagues and clients as valued partners; we strive to empower them by treating their goals and challenges as if they were our own and coming up with data-driven solutions. In addition, I lead a team of Account Coordinators and oversee the work of fellow Strategic Managers. As a team leader, I have learned to balance my empathy and compassion toward my team and set clear expectations and boundaries to ensure a smooth workflow. By being flexible, I learned to be the mentor who simultaneously provides continuous support and constructive feedback and pushes everyone to uncover their best potential.Aside from work, I cherish the time I spend with my family and fiance, whether at family gatherings or lunch outings with my partner. After all, nothing compares to the laughter and memories we share.
