Yes, it may sound grandiose, but that's precisely what I excel at. Throughout my career, I've been entrusted with this task not once, not twice, but thrice before. And now, here I am, embarking on my fourth endeavor. This time, my mission takes me to France, where I've been hired to spearhead the formation of a remarkable team. Their mission? To take ownership and transform a big data analytics solution into a fully customizable and ontology-driven product. Together, we'll harness the collective brilliance and unleash our creativity to make this vision a reality.I carefully select each member, ensuring that the right person is employed and assigned to the sections where their skills truly shine. But it doesn't stop there. I take it upon myself to explain things to them, acting as their guide in this ambitious journey.Together with the team, I help them absorb any shocks that may come our way, ensuring we stay resilient and determined. Maintaining the mood is crucial; I understand the power of a positive atmosphere in fueling creativity and productivity. So, picture me as more than just a team assembler. • Soft Solutions
Team Lead And Head Of R&D
    Soft Solutions Dec 1999 - Aug 2001
Soft Solutions is one of Europe's key players in the retail industry's information technology. Soft Solutions targets the kernel of information system engineering for the retail industry through its pricing module and purchasing module in addition to other supporting modules. As Technical Project Manager I lead the team in moving the company's Client/Server financial applications to the web by adopting the J2EE multi-tier architecture. I did everything from the architecture to the UI. The only thing I did not do was the database. I interviewed and hired the team who will take care of building this software. I created the training documentation to get them onboard and productive as quickly as possible (I think some of the material I created is still being used there today). The thing that I am most proud of was, choosing to do most of the UI using Javascript and using XML to communicate between the web browser and the app server. This was JSON and JQuery before the terms were coined (it was 1999).As Head of R&D I undertook the task of finding and testing any technology that can benefit the company's applications and lead the development team in applying these new technologies by using examples and case studies. I covered EJB, XML/XSL, DHTML and JavaScript. As Network Administration consultant I aided the administration team in laying out the LAN, setting-up the local and internet security, configuring the company's website and email server, configuring the routers and installing and managing Oracle database servers under Windows 2000 Server and Linux Redhat 7.1.ENVIRONMENTS: Linux, Windows NT4.0, 2000 server and workstation, Linux Redhat 7.1, BEA Weblogic 6.0 and 6.1, Oracle 8 and 8i, JBuilder 3.5, 4, 4.5 and 5, Apache web server, XML/XSL, DHTML, Javascript, IE 5.5, MSXML, EJB, JSP, Sendmail Advanced Message Server 1.0.0, IIS 4.0, MSProxy server 2.0, JDBC, Tomcat 2.x and 3.x, WiseInstaller 6.0
