As a core member, I helped in setting up the foundations for FotoArabia, an e-commerce startup selling stock photography online:- Contributed to the overall product development in addition to setting the pricing scheme and package purchase offerings.- Introduced FotoArabia to the Qatari market and made the first sales deals ever, for the company.- Built and maintained business relationships with major regional and international entities.- Established a partnership with Sony Middle East and launched the Sony Alpha 7 MarkII in the Qatari market and the Sony FotoArabia Picathon.- Organized and managed the Sony FotoArabia Picathon, a photography competition across Eight countries in the region.- Represented the company in local, regional and international events. - Launched a new profit center, the FotoArabia Studio, offering custom photoshoot for clients.- Conducted photography workshops such as How to Become a stock Photographer ; How to take a million Dollar Photo - In partnership with the Youth Company.- Managed online advertising campaigns and mass mailing campaigns, targeting both buyers and photographers.- Managed relationships with image suppliers from around the globe and grow the contributors’ database to +2,000 active members and more than 60,000 images.- Quarterly updated the stakeholders on the work progress, achievements and steps moving forward with the business.- Planned, managed and supervised internal and community photoshoots, from mood boards to briefing photographers, while coordinating the models and overlooking the final results.- Generated a photo collection representing different Arab countries, that is both culturally sensitive and highly desired by global image distributors.- Organized image quality workshops that resulted in enhanced search results by creating an archiving workflow and good taxonomy and metadata management.

As an Accounts and Communications Manager at Firefly, I helped in maintaining good client/agency relationships and produced quality work, while meeting deadlines.
