    Us
During my tenure at Hand Innovations sales grew from $16 million to $52 million The company was purchased by J&J DePuy for $250 million just prior to my departure. Before the company's acqusition, I was responsible for the implementation of a competitive response initiative which resulted in fully regaining a 20% decline in sales. I performed analysis and offered recommendations which lead to the strategic deployment of direct sales reps and district managers resulting in an immediate 5%-10% market penetration gain for their respective areas. We increased and streamlined surgeon training courses and labs that resulted in the training of approximately 100 surgeons per month and accomplished a customer conversion rate of 63% within 30 days following training. In addition to building a world class marketing organization, our department developed and introduced an enhanced marketing planning and commercialization process (PD&C process) which resulted in the overachievement of original sales forecasts for a new shoulder fracture product. This team also enhanced the corporate brand and positioning stragegy which led to greater product awareness and customer loyalty.
