Burnout and depression are increasing among this generation (Yu, 2022), and emotional expression and labeling can be crucial in preventing and managing these issues.The process of developing the “True Colors” toolkit is based on a combination of the “designing for transforming practices” framework (Trotto et al., 2021) and the “mixed perspectives in empathic design” (Smeenk, Tomico, & van Turnhout, 2018) approach.
