Contributed to the hiring and training of approximately 1,000 employees to start the facility as a brand new distribution center in Target's network located in Newton, NC. Optimized cube utilization for a reduction in trailer loads to the stores and cost savings to the company.

Assisted in the hiring and training of approximately 1,000 employees to start up Target's brand new distribution center in Midway, GA. Quoted and established contracts for carriers, yard service providers, and trailer and tractor maintenance providers. Responsible for the planning and scheduling of vendor deliveries and special events for the distribution center as well as the schedules to effectively service over 50 stores ranging from 30 miles to 800 miles away. Effectively ensured service to stores providing essential supplies and service during Tropical Storm Fay and Hurricane Hanna. Lead 2 Executive and 10 hourly technicians.
