• Provide support and resources to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and all other crimes • Educating clients about their rights• Assist victims in Orders of Protections by providing support and advocacy throughout court process• Provide referrals to local resources to meet victim’s needs• Rotating on-call after hours victim assistance by determining immediate needs, safety planning, crisis intervention, and providing emotional support• Escorted victims through their Sexual Assault Forensic Exam providing the comfort, courage, and assistance needed• Accompany victims to local police departments to file police reports • Completed training certification as NYS DOH Rape Crisis Counselor (60+ hours of training) • Certified as a Mandated Reporter • Provide assistance in safe housing searches such as relocation and shelter needs • Work closely with Law Enforcement, Family/Criminal Court, Child Protective Services, Department of Children and Family Services, and the Child Advocacy Center

• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time • Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify and fulfill office supply needs and maintain and manage vendors• Provide direct administrative supports as needed, including scheduling appointment meetings and events, maintaining filing system, mailing and shipping packages, and updating contact database and employee list• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the office as the main point of contact in the reception area, keeping management informed of performance with routine and requested reporting
