As part of the Interprofessional Practice Portfolio, I provided (operational and strategic) leadership to Advanced Practice Clinical Educators (APCE) who are responsible for enhancing the knowledge and practices of nurses and health professions staff in their specialty area. Some of my key responsibilities were:- implementation of clinical best practices related to documentation, vascular access, and foundational practices to improve patient outcomes. -provided management to 12 Advanced Practice Clinical Educators - provided management and oversight of the Nursing New Graduate Guarantee Program- promoted interprofessional collaboration and education- enhanced clinical and practice based education through a systematic approach to curriculum development and evaluation- led quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes - partnered with patient advisors in implementing key nursing practices that impacted patuent experience and outcomes- supported APCEs with clinical coaching and mentorship to point of care staff- led change through stakeholder engagement, and developing partnerships with leaders and opinion leaders in various practice/specialty areas
