Some of my responsibilities include providing individual therapy sessions for geriatric-aged clients, which include addressing a range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, and cognitive decline. My services focus primarily on clients diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) residing at the SNF. There is also a responsibility to collaborate with staff at the SNF and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) to provide support and education on managing the mental health needs of these clients who reside at the SNF.
