Ship repair management involving New Shipbuilding, Repairs, Modification and overhauling of vessels, tugs and cargo vessels, barges, boats, tankers and navy vessels. Planning and schedule preparation on MS project with scope and specification. Preparation of quotations and identify the accessory works involved and provide suitable quote as required. Critical path analysis and identification of the longest path with parallel activities. Arrange meeting with the client about details; events, milestones and EDC. Lead a project team with departments such as Mechanical, Fabrication and welding, Blasting and painting, carpentry, electrical and others and coordinate with inter departments to complete the work effectively. Arrangement of temporary services, security, power supply, fresh water, cranes and crew accommodation etc. to the vessel on arrival and during stay. Presentations on progress and updates to ships owners and yard management. Subcontracting additional jobs, stage meetings with clients and stake holders.Recommending applications on spot to solve technical issues the ships owners.Establishing work practices for maintaining yard cleaning, safety and environment Arranging record and updating calibration dates of lifting and testing equipment.Maintaining documents and records as per ISO 9000 for Quality control.Arranging overhauling of main engines and generators of commercial vessels. Ensuring application of safety and environment clauses while working on board.Preparation of Work completion certificates (WCC) and submitting of invoices to the client after completion of work. Arrange for discussion of the invoices with the client to clear all discrepancies.
