I performed breast cancer research through the Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) at University of Nebraska Medical Center in the Eppley Institute for Research in Cancer and Allied Diseases. Specifically, my research was a proteomic study of CTDP1, a protein in which helps regulate the activity of RNA polymerase II, and its involvement with DNA damage response proteins and pathways. I presented my research at the SURP poster presentation on August 9, 2018.
