I started my career as an Electrical & Electronic Engineer at E.B. Creasy & Co. PLC. There, I mainly focused on Solar Net Metering Installations. I have given my contribution for around 1 MW Solar installations while working at E.B. Creasy & Co. PLC. I had been working there for 2 years and 5 months. Then I joined Powerline Electric Company as Electrical Engineer. Powerline Electric Company is based on trading with Engineering background for offering solutions for Lightning Protection Systems. Powerline Electric Company is the only authorized dealer for Phoenix Contact products in Sri Lanka. We mainly focus on Surge Protection Devices. As well as we trade PV accessories also. Design and fabrication of Panels boards are also done at Powerline Electric Company. In addition to Phoenix Contact, we trade “SEZ, SALTEK, C&S, HPL” switch gears and “IDE, Trinity Touch” enclosures also. Then I could contribute my knowledge on Solar PV installations on behalf of Access Solar (PVT) LTD.I worked as an Electrical Engineer at Camso Loadstar. There I was able to get the experience of a manufacturing facility. The factory was running 24 hours and my duty was to keep the downtime of machines at the least level. Then I rejoined E.B. Creasy & PLC in March 2019. I was able to give my contribution to install 1.6 MW Roof-mounted Grid-Tied solar system at Kerawalapitiya. I gave my contribution from designing to commissioning the system. Currently, I work as an Electrical & Electronic Engineer in E.B. Creasy & Co., PLC.
