I am in constant pursuit of deep change in the way we do business and life. This motivation is rooted in my belief that there is a different way of being, one grounded in ancient wisdom and sacred pause, that can be a source of healing for our futures.I'm passionate about restoring our awareness of the relationships we have with the living world. This shows up in my writing, operational processes, business practices, engagement and investment criteria. I believe that it is through reflection and awareness where the deep change we long for can begin. We are creating a future, but with whom and for what? We have an open invitation to co-create a different one here and now. This is the tectonic shift that Sacred Futures is leading me towards. My experiences to date have given me the opportunity to understand and navigate the inner workings of capital markets across the public and private sectors. At Turner Impact Capital, I've led or supported the investment, structure and development of over $575 million of project value for education facilities across the country. When I was at KeyBanc Capital Markets, I conducted the underwriting, analysis, origination and structuring for over $3.8 billion of leveraged finance transactions across multiple sectors including technology, consumer goods, industrial, and energy. I have managed a portfolio of middle-market companies totaling $134 million in debt commitments and served on the sell side and project finance functions for companies administering energy resources. While my professional training began by obtaining my B.S. in Management from Weatherhead School of Management and B.A. in International Studies from the College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, I am a natural learner and am always engaged with gathering new or refining existing skill sets to integrate into the whole. This includes training in Permaculture Design, Regenerative Economics, UX Design, regenerative agriculture practices, and reading continuously on topics including spirituality, ecology, productivity, economics, technology and agriculture.I am eager to connect with others who are interested in taking this unchartered path towards building heart and reverence of living systems into the infrastructure of finance and economics.Charity May, Principal and Founderwww.sacredfutures.cowww.charitytaylormay.com
