Ordering of Materials.Keeping workforce positive and and solving problems that arise on site.Subcontractor payments.Hire, and train staff.Construction of 748 houses.Duties but not limited to:Foreman role managing the Finishing and Concrete teams.Foreman duties in the construction of residential homes from top to bottom; including Aprons, Foundations.Supervisory role on the General Earthworks, quality assurance and plumbing/electrical work within the homes.Compliancy checks with Health and Safety, Environmental, NHBRC Building and Government Inspectors and resolving of any issues thereof.

Projects to Date with Breekon Construction as a quality Controller.South Africa - Western Cape - Betties Bay (August 2011 - December 2011)Construction of 13 houses) South Africa - Western Cape - Bluedowns(January 2012 - March 2012)Construction of 1200 houses) The 1213 houses built consisted out of 1200 double story semi detached houses and 13 single story houses.Duties but not limited to:Supervised and managed quality assurance on all wet works plastering, toppings and building.Supervised paint work, ceiling teams, glazing, cleaning and general earthworks.Worked on Fortnight booking of sub-contractors using CST Online program and ensuring all administration work was kept up-to-date and stored safely.Managed and resolved complaints/queries from residents of the newly finished housing during the retention periods.Assisted with the quality assurance of the plumbing, electrical, carpentry and roofing.On-site Health and Safety training to ensure construction site was adherent to labour and construction laws including up-to-date medical kits and fire extinguishers.Log all accounts of days not worked due to weather conditions/labour strikes.Managed and inspected work of finishing work from sub-contractors.Knowledge base on crisis management; strikes, fire, accidents; heat stroke, bodily harm.Compliancy checks with Health and Safety, Environmental, Building and Government inspectors.Resolving compliance issues.Trained personnel in quality control.Some of they key skills I learnt was working under extreme pressure for long hours every day as well as working in all weather conditions to get the job in time.

Projects to date with Breekon Construction as a General worker while receiving traing for a quality controller role.South Africa - Western Cape - Kleinmond(January 2011 - August 2011)Construction of 400 houses The 400 houses built consisted out of 400 single story houses.Duties but not limited to:General Foundation worker for 100 houses.Training for Quality Controller for 100 houses.After completion of houses, managed the finishing and the finishing team for 250 houses. prior to handovers within a strict deadline.Managed on-site materials for the Finishing team.OHS and Environmental training.
