As CEO of Focus Care, I am passionate about delivering high quality aged care, dementia care and disability support services for our clients and their families across Australia.Drawing on more than 25 years’ experience in healthcare and community services, I take pride in providing clients and their families with the latest practices, technologies and methodologies, and a philosophy of care that ensures the best in home care support services. My expertise also derives from professional qualifications across optometry, social science and management, senior roles with NSW Health and as leader of the Aged Care Workforce Innovation Network (WIN) Program. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Education (Adult).With a passion for supporting clients and their families, I established Focus Care Solutions when my own family suddenly became remote carers for a loved one with dementia. Experiencing difficulties accessing appropriate support sparked the desire to use my skills and experience to help others. Focus Care Solutions became an Approved Provider of Home Care Packages in 2017 and expanded to include disability support services in 2018.The company now operates as Focus Care, encompassing disability support, dementia care, and aged care under one umbrella. We currently provide services in Sydney, Central Coast, Illawarra, Shoalhaven, and the Hunter region, and have recently expanded to Victoria and Queensland, with services also available in both Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast.
