I am responsible for overseeing and managing various departments and areas, including engineering and technical design, factory strategic management and planning, IT systems and infrastructure, occupational health and safety (OHS Section 16.2), factory and production administration, areas, facilities and infrastructure, security, procurement and costing, human resources and legal, and labor relations and dispute resolution.

As a member of the executive committee for the Alrode Business Forum, I assert that our Energy Crisis committee is taking action to address the load-shedding problem in the City of Ekurhuleni. Our primary objective is to support businesses in overcoming the challenges caused by this crisis. The SAVE-P team comprised of a group of committed South Africans from across the country, including engineers, designers, technologists and medical professionals, who have redesigned a CPAP device that was manufactured locally using existing local technology for treating patients affected by Covid-19 during the rapid onset of COVID-19 Pandemic in South Africa. The CPAP 100 device is an affordable, reliable solution that requires little maintenance and a minimum of training for non-ICU qualified nurses. SAVE-P, with assistance from the Medical Device Manufacturers Association of South Africa (MDMASA) and the National Association of Automotive Component and Allied Manufacturers (NACAM), have received expedited licensing from the regulatory authority (SAHPRA) to commence immediate manufacture of the CPAP 100.

-Initiating, monitoring, coordinating and controlling numerous engineering projects being run in parallel.- Ensuring that the engineering projects are delivered on time with the highest quality standard and within budget.-Product Development from specification to production of primarily mining related mechanical components as well as hydraulic, pneumatic and construction industry components.-Design for and implementation into manufacture in a high-volume turning, milling and pressing environment.-Conducting mechanical testing of products.-Generation of 3D models and 2D drawings of newly designed components to manufacturing standards.-Providing customers with technical assistance in terms of product improvement, optimization and testing, both in the laboratory and sub-surface environments. -Patented components designed for the gold mines’ bolt roof support anchors

Designed, developed, manufactured and qualified a backward curved centrifugal fan for high flow for the mines made of composite materials together with a fellow student for our final year project
